The Cats Whiskers
Hidden away on Anchor Street is The Cats Whiskers, a lovely little restaurant serving Mediterranean tapas, inspired by dishes from Greece, Italy, Spain, France and Morocco. Lots of really tasty vegetarian and vegan dishes, as well as plenty of meat dishes. Loads of character and delicious food. Well worth a visit, we’d recommend booking.

East Quay
The restaurant at East Quay is on the ground floor, spilling out into the courtyard. A relaxed vibe, sometimes with live music or a DJ. We love the East Quay food, Middle-Eastern and Mediterranean-inspired dishes. An easy going feel, where kids can get up and run round the courtyard without anyone worrying.

The Star Inn
A lovely traditional pub tucked away next to the river off Market Street. They serve good quality traditional pub grub. We’d recommend booking if there’s a few of you as it does get busy, particularly in the summer. You can eat in the pub or in the beer garden outside.

Pebbles Tavern and the Fish and Chip Shop
Okay this is a bit left field, but everything in Watchet is a fabulously quirky. Pebbles is an amazing haunt for those who enjoy real ale and cider. They have quite a selection! They don’t serve food themselves, but have a great arrangement with their neighbours the fish and chip shop. Order your fish and chips next door and eat them in Pebbles.
